In the continuity of the 2010 Forum The 3rd International Forum on Buddhism and Medicine brought together leading experts who presented the most recent research on the benefits of meditation in a wide range of medical and therapeutic settings, and in everyday life. Nearly 1000 people attended the forum: doctors, therapists, healthcare professionals, academics, Buddhist practitioners and, of course, the general public. 2010 Forum's speakers
Speakers were from the fields of neuroscience, Buddhist meditation, medicine and therapy. The conference took place in the beautiful surroundings of the Lerab Ling Institute of Wisdom and Compassion, a Buddhist centre in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France. Lerab Ling was founded by the Tibetan meditation teacher Lerab Ling Programme and Activities on www.lerabling.org
